Timken 11Y42500 Commercial Vehicle Leather Seal with Severe Duty Wear Ring

Oversized double-walled metal outer diameter helps prevent seal from spinning or walking out of the bore hub. Heavy-duty construction of outer wall enables effective heat transfer away from the sealing lip. Severe service sleeve provides a new running surface for worn or damaged axle spindles and protects the the spindle during hub removal. Standard service sleeves also available. Polymer-impregnated leather lip absorbs grit and provides protection across a broad temperature range (-65F to 170F / -55C to 77C). Outpeforms nitrile seals in cold, contaminated environments and are compatible with all natural and synthetic oils and greases.
