1KIT 16GA Fusible Link Wire. Fusible links are not rated in amps like fuses because each installation is unique & designed to meet specific circuit protection. Opens circuit when extreme overload occurs. Used to repair factory installed fusible links. Original length & gauge must match exactly. Fusible link should be 4 gauges smaller than circuit. CAUTION: DO NOT substitute ordinary wire for fusible links. DO NOT replace fuses with fusible link wire. Highly technical calculations are required to determine the correct length and gauge of fusible links. Each 1\' Kit Also Includes: 1 x 3/8" Ring Connector 2 x Butt Connectors.
