LOCTITE® MR 5009 is a red, viscous, solvent-based liquid with a characteristic odor which is a blend of elastomers and resins in acetone. It is brushable and dries quickly to a highly tacky film and is designed to seal or bond rubber, cork, felt, paper and metal gaskets. It seals threaded hose connections, waterproofs and protects electrical terminals and wiring. Holds gaskets in place during assembly. Seals and bonds rubber, cork, paper, felt, metal and asbestos gaskets. Contains no ozone depleting compounds. Increased oil resistance. Non-corrosive. 5 min. to set. Suitable to 500°F (260°C)
