White, general purpose thread sealant for an instant low-pressure seal. A 1-part, high-viscosity thread sealant for tapered, coarse metal threads. Its high lubricating properties make it well suited for the easy assembly of stainless steel fittings. LOCTITE® 567 is a white, 1-part thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. As an anaerobic-curing thread sealant, it cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Its high lubricating properties prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminum and all other metal pipe threads, and allows ease of assembly. The product offers high temperature performance and tolerates minor surface contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids. Meets the performance requirements of KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 for admixtures up to and including 100% hydrogen gas – certifications are available in select countries. 1-part: no mixing required. Doesn’t creep, shrink or block systems. Ideal for metal pipes and fittings. Provides an instant low pressure seal. NSF/ANSI 61 certified. UL MH8007 and ULC MH27131 classified. KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 certified for hydrogen gas systems.
