Clear, thixotropic, one-component, paste-like acetic silicone that polymerizes at room temperature and emits an acetic acid odor. LOCTITE® SI 595 is a clear, thixotropic, one-component, room-temperature curing, acetic acid silicone paste with an acetic acid odor. It is an excellent sealing adhesive for mechanical assemblies. Typical applications include electrical insulation, shock absorption, bonding of trims, and sealing of conduits, ventilation ducts, doors, and windows. Certified to ANSI/NSF 51 standard for use with plastics and food equipment components not exceeding +204 °C. Classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.® E257711 - Plastics & Components.
