Unlike typical alignment hardware, the patent-pending cam plates in this kit are infinitely adjustable rather than stepped to allow a much more precise alignment. The inner surfaces of these innovative cam plates are knurled in a crosshatch pattern for maximum grip on the control arms, secured by an included bolt with a special rust-resistant coating. An innovative deformed ovoid fastener, not a garden-variety nut, helps ensure the plates stay exactly where they're supposed to after alignment.
