The X-Treme zinc finish can withstand up to 720 hours of harsh sodium chloride, calcium chloride, and sodium bicarbonate testing cycles and suffered only 1% of rust across the entire unit when tested, while the black powder coat suffered five times as much, the black e-coat ten times as much, and the zinc plating sixty times as much. .
