Grade 5 Zinc Plated Carriage Bolts are available in partially and fully threaded lengths. They are also referred to as shaker screen bolts. These bolts feature a low-profile head equipped with a square neck, designed to prevent rotation when the nut is either tightened or loosened. They are commonly used in joining wood to wood or wood to metal. They are characterized by their smooth, round head that offers a clean, finished appearance. The bolts are zinc-coated, providing them with excellent resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor industrial use. Grade 5 fasteners are heat treated and are stronger than grade 2 fasteners.
