Designed for use on all Velvac pre-set loops except those with tension control stop pre-set as found in kit Part No. 748371 Improves pivot holding force on mirrors with large loops or large/heavy mirror head combinations Unique spring/washer combination retains pivot system torque to keep mirror in set viewing position until moved and provides superior detent action for foldaway applications Life cycle tested to over 50,000 pivot cycles Pre-set rivet plate fits over existing pre-set rivets to extend life of loop and improve cycle performance Easy retrofit - can be completed without taking mirror assembly off the vehicle 5/16" -18 x 1-3/4" stainless steel pivot bolt and 5/16" - 18 x 2" stainless steel pre-set bolt Kit contains all upper and lower pivot hardware for one mirror assembly Kit can be used to upgrade mirror loops with standard rubber or spring pre-set systems (similar to part number 748009 or 712979).
