Chromed pump piston and ram increase rust resistance and helps extend service life. The inline design increases ease of use for both positioning and lifting. A built-in extension screw on the ram gives added height when needed, and helps to meet working surface faster. All OTC bottle jacks meet or exceed the newest ASME PASE-2019 safety standards for portable automotive service equipment. This includes a built-in safety valve to prevent overloading, and a stable base to prevent tipping if loaded off-center. Jack can be operated manually or with shop air. Minimum air pressure required is 100 PSI to move ram and lift objects.
