This tape is designed to help protect conduits, pipes and metallic cable jackets. The tape resists abrasion, punctures, and electrolytic actions that are buried above or below the ground. It withstands a wide temperature range of 10°F to 120°F (-12°C to 49°C). 3M™ Temflex™ General Use Corrosion Protection Tape 1100 has a specially formulated, pressure-sensitive, rubber resin adhesive that offers optimized adhesion. This 10 mil tape has a PVC backing that resists salt water, sunlight, alkalis, and other corrosive materials, including chlorine, bromine, sodium, and lithium. This tape has excellent electrical strength and offers moisture sealing for threaded conduit joints. It is also RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
