When the original equipment plastic engine oil pan on certain GM vehicles cracks from heat or impact, the dealer repair solution is to offer the same failure-prone design, inviting similar future failures. This Dorman OE FIX oil pan is designed to precisely match the fit of the factory pan, but is made from rugged aluminum for a more permanent and damage-resistant repair. To help protect the engine from harmful metal debris in the oil that results from internal component wear, this pan also features a convenient magnetic drain plug with an angled mount boss to enable a complete drain.
