A failed fuel temperature sensor can cause rough idle, poor acceleration and fuel economy, hard starting and emissions issues, and will often result in a check engine light. This fuel temperature sensor is designed to match the performance of an original equipment sensor on specified vehicles. It is engineered to reliably and accurately measure the temperature of the vehicle fuel, and relay that information to the engine control unit to help optimize the air-to-fuel mix ratio.
