Emzone 12A A/C Cool Refrigerant with resealable valve is an environmentally friendly replacement alternative for ozone depleting R-12 and global warming R134a products. It is non-toxic and non-ozone depleting. The 12a A/C Cool Refrigerant also contains high performance oil to improve system efficiency and Universal UV Dye to help with leak detection. This user-friendly Kit is complete with easy to use trigger recharge hose that works with the new emzone® resealable cans. Featuring an in line pressure gauge and a trigger mechanism to control the flow of refrigerant from the can. Makes DIY A/C maintenance easier by allowing you to read pressure (just release the trigger to measure pressure) and dispense refrigerant (squeeze the trigger to fill) in a few simple steps, ensuring you don’t overcharge or undercharge the system.
  • Directions: 1. Unscrew and remove trigger with hose from top of can. Shake can well | 2. Remove the white plastic safety seal from base of trigger and discard | 3. Re-install trigger on top of can by rotating in clockwise direction. Do Not over tighten | 4. Connect charging hose to low side pressure service port and invert can | 5. With the compressor off, install minimum charge by squeezing the trigger | 6. After minimum charge is achieved, start compressor and turn system to maximum | 7. Add additional 12a as required while periodically checking the Low Side system pressure, release the trigger to measure pressure. Do not overcharge system | 8. Remove charging hose and check system for leaks. Unscrew the trigger hose hose from the resealable valve can | 9. Apply 12a Refrigerant label on A/C system in visible area near service port.
