Socket Head Cap Screws are ideal for applications in which there is not enough space to maneuver wrenches or sockets and have an internal-wrenching drive, such as a hex socket. Also known as socket head bolts. 18.8 stainless steel has good outdoor and chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. The installation and removal of these screws require Allen keys or hex wrenches, tools that fit into the screw's head, allowing for a secure engagement. Thread FT/PT: Partial Thread; Threads Per Inc: 20; Thread Type: Coarse Thread; Head Type: Socket; Inches/Metric: Imperial; Product Base Matrial: 18.8 Stainless Steel

Corrosion Resistance: One of the primary benefits of 18.8 stainless steel is its excellent resistance to corrosion. Applications where exposure to moisture and salt is common. Ideal for use in harsh environments, including outdoor.
Available with a coarse thread design, these come in options of either partially threaded (PT) or fully threaded (FT). Made from 18.8 stainless steel.
ASTM F837. Features a hexagon socket drive that requires Allen Keys or hex wrenches for installation or removal.
