271 Red High Strength Threadlocker 6ml Tube 544420. Loctite® 271 is a red, high strength, low viscosity, methacrylate-based threadlocking adhesive. The product provides quick fixture times on steel, brass and stainless steel at 10, 5 and 15 minutes respectively. Can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils. Suitable for all metal fasteners. Breakaway torque on M10 diameter bolts is 26 Nm. Fluoresces to identify if the adhesive was applied correctly under scrutiny of UV light inspection. Prevents unwanted movement, loosening, leaks and corrosion. Resists vibration. Seals threads - allows through-hole tapping.
