Marathon Brakes NKHS4707QP New Shoe Kit 16 1/2 X 7 Meritor Q+

Marathon brake shoes deliver uncompromising quality and performance through advanced manufacturing processes that exceed industry standards. Each shoe features proprietary E-Coating (electro-deposition coating) that prevents rust jacking and withstands an impressive 1,000 hours of salt spray testing—double the standard of other OEMs—ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance in harsh environments. Constructed from high-grade carbon steel with tightly controlled specifications, these shoes utilize complete seam-welding along the entire table/web junction (not just spot welding like competitors) for superior strength and durability. The roller and anchor journals undergo specialized heat treating to prevent wear, distortion, and mushrooming that commonly affects relined shoes and causes premature lining wear. Manufactured under TS16949 certification with precise computerized dimension monitoring, Marathon brake shoes ensure uniform, balanced braking performance while preventing hot spots that can shorten friction life. The thicker steel construction in the platform, web, and base provides enhanced durability compared to most competitors, making Marathon brake shoes the reliable choice for maximum safety, longevity, and consistent braking performance you can count on.
