Molyslip Dry Moly Spray ADF (Air Drying Film) is a highly effective product that can be applied using a spray or brush. It contains pure molybdenum disulphide, which creates an air-drying bonding resonates. This highly versatile product reduces metal pick-up and galling during component assembly and dry start-up conditions. It is beneficial when traditional wet lubricants cannot be used or do not provide adequate lubrication.
- The protective applied film can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -50°C (-58°F) to 550°C (1022°F) without flaking or cracking.
- Unlike oils and greases, this product's dry nature will not attract dirt and dust.
- Additionally, it is resistant to water wash-off, making it perfect for use in extreme environments.
- The product is often used as a dry-film blank mould pre-treatment in the glass container industry.
- It is bonded with graphite film, which removes the need to swab with manually wet film compounds during set-up when consistent running conditions are required.
