Saranex is a 23-P film from Dow Chemical Co. and provides protection against a broader range of chemicals than Tyvek alone. Tychem's 8 mil thick material is superior for barrier protection from hazardous liquids, toxic chemicals, and minute particles. Tychem has excellent mechanical protection, which makes this limited-use garment suitable for LEVEL 8 Protection against many inorganic acids, bases, and salts, as well as certain hydrocarbons and alcohols.
