Pre-installed gladhands torqued to factory specifications. Air coils are built to “working length” to ensure coil does not kink and gladhands are secure under excessive pull force. Gladhands are built with a heavy gauge powder-coated connector plate for corrosion protection. Single piece trailer side and three-piece swivel tractor side fittings. 1/2″ NPTF. Air coils remain flexible at -40°F (-40°C) with the exception of POLAR AIR® which remains flexible at -85°F (-65°C). Meets DOT 49 CFR FMVSS 571.106 specifications. Meets DOT 49 CFR FMVSS 393.45 specifications. As recommended practice, use a tracker bar spring kit or pogo stick to support cable assemblies with longer leads.
