Hex Head Cap Screws are used to secure an object within or against another object. They are recognized with specific features like tighter tolerances and a chamfered end with a washer face under the head. The bare metal finish (non-plated) is ideal for indoor use or where corrosion is not a concern. Grade 8 screws, recognized by six radial bars, are made from quenched and double heat-treated medium carbon alloy steel for maximum strength in demanding applications like heavy-duty machinery. Thread FT/PT: Partial Thread; Threads Per Inc: 7; Thread Type: Coarse; Head Type: Hex; Inches/Metric: Imperial; Product Base Material: Steel
